Private Room in a 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Apartment Complex in Allston close to BU'S CRC Campus (Shared Housing)

Hello everyone! My name is Mohamad (male) and this is going to be a long description, so I hope you're ready haha.

I am looking for a 3rd roommate to sign a 1-yr lease that will start on September 1st, 2025... and occupy the 2nd bedroom of this 2 beds 1 bath apartment in Allston. We currently have 1 person occupying the 1st bedroom and 1 person who will be occupying the living room, which is connected to that same 1st bedroom. You, the 3rd person, will be occupying the 2nd bedroom which is separate from the living room and 1st bedroom. Normally, rent would be $1250 per month per person, not including utilities (heat, electricity, and wifi). However, with 3 people, rent will actually go down to $875 for you - the person staying in the living room will only pay $750 due to it being smaller in size. There will also be two cats. If you are worried about space, don't worry, the apartment is pretty big. And if you are worried about the cats, they are chill and sleep 20 hrs of the day.
In terms of utilities, they are roughly $75-100 per month total during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Over the winter, it is closer to $150-$200 per month total depending on how often the heater is being used).

To be able to apply, you must have a cosigner. Upon signing this lease, first month’s rent, last month’s rent, and a security deposit will be due. You will get your security deposit back 100% if there are no new damages done to the room by the end of your lease.

About the apartment itself:
The bedroom and the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. Your bedroom will have a full-size bed and all the things a bed needs, laundry hamper, office chair, desk, desk lamp, full-body mirror, nightstand and closet with a BUNCH of hangers. The rest of the apartment comes with
- 2 storage closets in the hallway,
- a LOT of space in the bathroom (it’s bigger than some bedrooms in Boston),
- a gas-stove, oven, too many kitchen cabinets, a refrigerator, cleaning-supplies closet, dishwasher, sink, kitchen table, large pantry, and another storage space,
- and TWO CUTE cats! A Siamese - she is super social - and a domestic Shorthair Tortoiseshell cat - she is not so social lol.
- (again, the living room will be occupied).
We are unit 1 out of 6 units. We are on the first floor and the laundry is located right next to our front door and is $2 for the washer and dryer (each).
There is a parking lot in front of the apartment, but it is not included and will cost an extra $150 per month if you are interested.

About the neighborhood:
- a 4-5 minute walk to the 57 bus, which takes you to Fenway/Kenmore and Watertown,
- a 3-5 minute walk to the 66 bus, which takes you to Roxbury and Harvard Square,
- a 4-5 minute walk to the 64 bus, which takes you to Oak Square and Cambridge,
- an 8-9 minute walk to the T’s Green Line, which takes you to Boston College and Downtown Boston.
- a 12 minute walk to the BU shuttle stop at BU West Campus which takes you throughout BU campus and all the way to the BU Med Campus.
- and a 15 mnute walk to Boston Landing, the commuter rail stop in Allston which takes you to Downtown Boston or Gloucester, MA.
- It is a 9-10 minute walk to the nearest typical grocery store and an Asian supermarket.
- the nearest gyms, Commonwealth Sports Club and Planet Fitness, are roughly a 10 minutes walk. It is a 15 minute walk to FitRec and GymIt.
- The BlueBikes station is stationed 2 minutes away from the apt., but the city removes them during winter. The nearest BlueBikes station after this one would be about 10 minutes away.
- Located near your apartment and throughout the rest of Allston are a ton of restaurants
and bars and a club and karaoke.

Now, a bit about myself:
I am 23 yrs old and graduated from the BUSPH summer of 2024. I currently work at home full-time. My hobbies include cooking, swimming, playing tennis, working out at the gym, hiking, kayaking, watching TV shows + anime, and annoying my cat. I am a quiet and clean person at home - since I work from home - but I like to play and party hard when I go out!
So, I am looking for someone who is
- Okay with living with 2 other roommates
- Okay with living with 2 of the cutest cats
- Quiet/not into partying inside our apartment (but please invite me to anything that is fun)
- Keeps apartment common spaces clean
- Understands the “No Shoes Policy” inside the apartment
- Smoking is limited to outside
