Unit info: The apartment is large, with an open living room area and spacious kitchen with good appliances, including a dishwasher. Both spaces are fully furnished. The living room has a wall AC unit. There is one bathroom with a combined tub/shower.... The apartment also has plenty of storage with 4 closets in the hallway, plus a large closet in each of the bedrooms. The available bedroom is huge (it's the bigger of the two) and has lots of natural light. The current bedroom furniture can be kept for additional cost.
Building Info: The unit is on the second floor, but there is no elevator. There is laundry in the basement (pay by app). There is a two key system for security, so you need one key to enter the building and one key to enter the unit.
Location: The building is super close to several grocery stores (Star Market, Super 88, etc), a 5 minute walk away from BU west campus, and a 3 minute walk away from the Packards Corner T-stop on the Green Line. The area is very safe and well lit at night. It is mostly students and young professionals who live in the area/in the buildings.
Costs: Monthly rent is $1575. All utilities (gas, heating, etc.) are paid for except for electricity (roughly $75 each in summer months b/c of the AC unit and $30 each for the rest of the year) and wifi ($30 a month each). Wifi is already set up, and we have a TV.
Management Info: If anything is broken or there are issues, there is a free handyman service and someone comes to the apartment (from the building managers) and fixes whatever you need - they are super nice and very helpful, I've never had a bad interaction with them and they are so efficient. The building management company is about a 5 minute walk away, so that is always convenient. I have never had a bad interaction with them, but I have also had very little interaction because there haven't been many reasons to meet with them.
