Elevator are always broken, management doesn’t care about residents. The building is always something wrong and in a repair mode all the time. This management tend to give you a cheaper rent that make you move in first and when is time to renew your lease, it cost you arm and leg I mean $500 per month increase for rent. Just don’t living here. Before you decide to live in here, stop by ask any of residents in the building, every one of us will tell you to run away from this place. This will be... my last year here, and I really hope you take my advice. Go somewhere else, you deserve live better!

A very well-run, well-maintained building in a beautiful part of town. We appreciated the tranquility of being far enough from a bustling city, while having ease of accessibility to Greater Boston with the 75 bus, blue bikes and even, when we had time to spare, enjoyable 35-minute walks to Harvard Sq. Parks are all around, and Fresh Pond is a major attraction at all times. Major grocery stores are all a short walk from the building, and specialty foods (especially Armenian and Middle Eastern)... are also nearby, plus good places to eat on Belmont St, Mt. Auburn and Huron Ave. The apartments have excellent facilities: very well-heated in the winter (you can control the temperature in the apartment), nice and cool with the AC in summer. Kitchens have ample fridge space, state of the art oven/stove and microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of cupboards. Closet space is a great feature of Parkside apartments, as you'll get several walk-in closets. Everything is in excellent shape, but if you need repairs, the maintenance crew is one of the most responsive and efficient around. Another great perk is having free laundry machines. The Club Room is a great place with free coffee on offer, a high-quality billiard table, and comfy work spaces. The backyard holds a special place in our hearts, because management very kindly allowed us to have a small party for our girls' first birthday there. It is a great place for entertaining kids, bbq'ing, or just to enjoy the greenery. But for all the many wonderful things one can say about the building, it's the people at Parkside who ultimately made our stay so special. David and Hannie at management are both friendly, forthright and very easy to communicate with, no matter how big or small the issue. They made us feel at home, and our family's gratitude to them is immense. The concierges are all wonderful; it was great to have them around to ask questions and pick up packages, but the warmth and friendliness of our conversations with Peter, Haile, John et al really made a big difference. Maintenance and cleaning crews are just as warm, friendly and efficient too. Once you get to know other residents at Parkside, the community feel of the building also becomes very clear and familiar. Although our life in Cambridge was ultimately a stepping stone to a future spent elsewhere, we consider our time spent in Parkside one filled with wonderful memories and bonds that will endure for a long time.

We moved in 10 months ago. We're very pleased with our decision - all new paint/carpeting on move-in; convenient covered parking; concierge staff very helpful and friendly; interesting neighbors (although it can be challenging to meet in large building); quick attention to repairs; no pests that we've noticed; free laundry, gym and clubroom. Arriving packages safely held at desk.
The rooms are on the small side but with outstanding views through huge windows.
Our only complaint would be the %... of rent increase with renewal - seems a bit high.
Come have a look

The worst experience that we had in rental buildings ever from last year that the manager changed.
They constantly have constructions inside and outside. They use drills all the time with loud noises in the parking lot.
My little son even can't have a nap during day for more than a months now.
Management don't care about residents in this building and it's better not to try to have a discussion with her. Worst experience that I had with manager ever.
You can find many insects and pests inside... the unit such as ants, molds and mice.
If you rent parking lot in the building do forget to use elevators, there is just one elevator that has access to three levels of parking lot and it is always booked or stuck even without notice. Sorry to say that but If you want to live in a this situations you are welcome to this building.

The prices are always increasing. No maintenance when requested. Staff is unprofessional when the main manager is not on site. There is a very annoying concierge and assistant manager, makes cruel and snide remarks about others within earshot. (Most of the people who clean-up are pleasant).

We are disappointed to learn about your experience, but we appreciate the feedback regardless. We have three elevators for the 20-story building and regular maintenane is imperative. Our property is at or near full occupancy and the vast majority of... residents enjoy all the property has to offer starting with its location overlooking Fresh Pond in Cambridge. Our rents are very competitive with nearby comparable properties are reflect the rental market across the city of Cambridge.
