Hi everyone! I’m looking for a subletter for my room in Allston from May 1st- August 31st, with the option to extend past that for a long-term lease.
The apartment is a 4b/2b and you would be living with 2 female grad students and 1 working... professional who are in their mid 20s to early 30s. Rent is $1175/mo. Utilities (electricity, gas, and wifi) are not included but amount to roughly $150/mo. Coin-op laundry is located in the basement (washer is free but dryer is $1.75). The bedroom will be furnished with a bed, a dresser, a cube storage organizer, a desk, and a chair, so perfect for someone who might just be coming for a summer internship or someone who doesn’t have a lot of their own furniture. Unfortunately, no pets and no off-street parking!
The public transit nearby is great (6 minute walk to Packard’s corner green line T stop, 13 minute walk to the first stop of the BU shuttle at Agganis Arena, walking distance to a bunch of buses). The food scene here is amazing too! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed living here but I am moving in my with my boyfriend.
